WINGER Joe Newell is confident Rotherham can avoid relegation.
The Millers were one place and one point above the drop zone going into yesterday’s clash with Wigan.
Newell, 25, is currently sidelined by a groin injury, but has watched games from the stand, and said: “We’ve definitely got a good chance of staying up.
“I think we’ve been through a bit of a bad spell, but we keep plugging away and if you would have told us we would be a place outside the relegation zone with 15 games to go, then we would have taken that all day long.”
