Premier League West Ham target Championship duo

The Hammer are considering a seven-figure bid for QPR left wing-back Ryan Manning

West Ham have identified QPR defender Ryan Manning and Bournemouth striker Joshua King as potential transfer targets.

Negotiations between Manning, who can also play on the left side of midfield, and QPR to extend his contract went cold last month.

A move across London could be on the cards for the former Ireland U21 player, with West Ham considering a £5m bid to draw Manning east to Stratford.

Speculation linking the Premier League outfit with Manning started in the summer as the 24-year-old enters the final 12 months of his current deal.

Seven days remain for transfers to take place between English clubs, which is enough time for Bournemouth forward King’s future to be decided.

Bournemouth are demanding £18m for the Norweigan international’s signature and are weighing interest from several other Premier League clubs.

King, capped 48 times by Norway, is believed to be holding European competition as a high priority.

But with no move secured prior to the summer international window slamming shut on Monday, King now faces the option of staying in England or waiting until January to sign a deal in principal with Champions League-qualified clubs that are understood to be interested.

Fulham, West Brom, Everton, Brighton and Aston Villa are all considering a move for King.

The departure of the 28-year-old would expand the exodus at the Vitality Stadium. Nathan Ake, Aaron Ramsdale, Callum Wilson and Ryan Fraser have all left the Cherries for the Premier League to the tune of a combined £79.3m in sales.
