WYCOMBE Wanderers got the better of an excellent York City side in a 3-2 victory, as two well-drilled sides played out an entertaining 90 minutes.
Thanks to two strikes from Luke Leahy, and a third from West Ham loanee Gideon Kodua, Matt Bloomfield’s men managed to put themselves in the hat for the second round.
Speaking after the game, manager, Matt Bloomfield, was relieved to have avoided a potential banana skin.
