IN ALMOST 20 years as a journalist, I’ve covered a lot of derbies.
Most were typically unmemorable scraps, but a couple stand out.
Nottingham Forest’s 3-2 victory over Derby at the City Ground in 2009 was a brilliant game capped by the overexuberance of Nathan Tyson.
The Forest forward – who ironically later moved to the Rams – celebrated by uprooting a corner flag bearing his club’s badge and waving it towards the away end, practically inciting a riot.
