Free agent Josh Ruffels is determined not to panic as he patiently waits for an opportunity to add to his 400 senior games as an EFL professional.
Ruffels, 31, hit that career landmark last season for Huddersfield Town before being left out of the team for the final two fixtures, having started 13 of the previous 14 games.
Just days later, with the Terriers managerless at the time, he was told on a Zoom call by a club director that he would not be getting a new deal.
