PORTSMOUTH forward Conor Chaplin says last season’s Premier League adventure with Ipswich has given him the “hunger” to return to the highest level.
The 28-year-old returned to Fratton Park on a deadline-day loan from Portman Road, six years after leaving Pompey to join Coventry.
He also played for Barnsley before joining the Tractor Boys in 2021 and was a key part of the side that won back-to-back promotion to reach the top flight under Kieran McKenna.
