Former Derby, Leicester and Sunderland striker Martyn Waghorn has announced his retirement at the age of 35.
Waghorn, who scored 135 goals in 527 career games, won promotion from League One with Derby last season.
Subsequently released, he joined Northampton on a short-term deal in November but cancelled his contract six weeks later.
“It’s been an incredible journey,” said Waghorn, who also represented Ipswich and Coventry and won promotion with Rangers.
