SHEFFIELD United boss Chris Wilder says the £10m capture of striker Tom Cannon from Leicester is a statement of intent from the club’s new owners.
The 22-year-old, who scored nine goals in 22 Championship games on loan at Stoke earlier this season, is the Blades’ first major signing since COH Sports, led by Steven Rosen and Helmy Eltoukhy, completed a £100m takeover last month.
