PORTSMOUTH boss John Mousinho will target a centre-back on loan in January following an injury to Conor Shaughnessy.
A fixture in the side that won promotion from League One last season, Shaughnessy has not played since August after suffering a succession of calf problems.
The 28-year-old was slated to return following the recent international break but suffered yet another setback in training and has now been ruled out until 2025.
