PEP, IT’S ALL A LOAD OF SPHERES TO ME!

SOMEWHAT bizarrely, the biggest talking point from this week’s Carabao Cup action (aside from the draw) seems to be the state of the ball.
Not since the Jabulani caused a stir at the South African World Cup has there been such a racket caused by the match day sphere.
According to Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola and Yaya Toure, the ball was too light and a major factor as to why they struggled against Championship leaders Wolves.
