Hayden Hackney further underlined his Premier League credentials with a goal in last weekend’s FA Cup defeat to Fulham.

The 23-year-old midfielder showed a sniffer’s instinct to attack the six-yard box and finish a slick passage of play from Kim Hellberg’s side.
Hackney’s tenth direct goal contribution of the campaign means he has already surpassed his total for the whole of last season - though there is considerably more to the young Teessider’s game than finding the net.
