Ipswich Town striker Kieffer Moore says he hasn't spoken to Tractor Boys' boss Mick McCarthy about his future but is happy to stay on loan at Rotherham for the foreseeable future.
McCarthy recently hinted that he is considering recalling the 25-year-old from his season-long loan at The Millers but Moore insisted he'll have nothing to do with the final decision and is perfectly happy to continue the promotion push with his loan-club.
The 6ft 5in striker told Green'Un24: “I don't really have a say in it. Of course I would be happy to stay, but it's out of my hands.
“I am enjoying my football and enjoying scoring goals. Hopefully it continues,” he added.
Moore is in excellent form so far this season, becoming the top scorer in the highest five tiers of English football with 13, including a last-minute equaliser in the South Yorkshire derby against Doncaster at the weekend.
The former Forest Green Rovers man said his purple patch is down to everything falling into place at the right time. He said: “It's a culmination of everything – great staff, great manager, great everything. I wouldn't be doing this if I didn't have the support or the assists I am getting. I am striding with confidence and I believe I am playing the best football I have ever played.”
Several League One clubs, including Rotherham, are understood to be considering making a bid for Moore in January but McCarthy hasn't ruled out the striker's future lying at Ipswich.
McCarthy said: “The more he's scoring goals, the view is that he's more likely to come back here at Christmas and see whether he can replicate it in the Championship.”
Moore will try and continue his good run of form as Rotherham welcome League One leaders Shrewsbury Town on Saturday.
