Eldin Jakupovic leaves Hull for Leicester in £2.5m deal

A statement posted on Hull's official club website confirmed: “Eldin Jakupovic has joined Premier League club Leicester City for an undisclosed fee.

“Jakupović departed the Tigers' Portuguese training camp at the weekend to finalise the move, with the formal paperwork completed earlier today.

“The goalkeeper had been the Club's longest-serving player after joining in July 2012 following a successful trial at the end of the 2011/12 season. He went on to make 55 appearances for the Tigers.”

Jakupovic spent two loan spells at Leyton in 2014 when they were a side, finishing his time at the KCOM Stadium as former manager Marco Silva's preferred choice once Allan McGregor had sustained a back injury.
