A look ahead to a crucial day in the Championship

By Dan Judd

The reaches its climax on Saturday with the title still very much in reach for , Middlesborough and .

Burnley sit two points clear at the top on 90 points and they will be confident of lifting the title when they travel to The Valley to face already-relegated . The have won just two of their past 14 league games at the Valley (D6 L6) and they will face a solid Burnley team that has made just 28 changes to their starting XI this season – fewer than any other Championship side.

The other crucial game on the final day sees 2nd play 3rd in a promotion-deciding clash as Middlesborough host Brighton. With both teams sitting on 88 points the result will decided both team’s fate and certainly promises to be a dramatic occasion!

Despite Middlesborough and Brighton having shown phenomenal form this season, both sides failed to take home maximum points last weekend. Middlesborough drew 2-2 at , while an deflected 95th minute equalizer helped Brighton earn a point at home to .

To sum up –  if ‘s men win in south London, they will take home the silverware. But if the Clarets lose to Charlton at the Valley, the winner at the Riverside will be crowned champions.

It certainly doesn’t get any better than this!
