Patrick Bamford has made a storming start to life at Sheffield United – and picking up the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award has iced the cake.
The former Leeds United striker joined the Bramall Lane outfit on a short-term agreement in November and hit the ground running.
In December, his four goals in six games, including a flicked volley with the outside of his left foot at Wrexham, saw him land the Championship player prize.
“I'm really happy,” said the 32-year-old former England forward.
