All this extra time is having a big impact

There's been a big increase in the amount of ‘injury time’ at EFL matches this season, which begs the question: Is it improving the game?
Time-wasting, bookings, goal celebrations, injury breaks, water breaks, floodlight failure, streakers! Every second of stoppage time is being added to give fans more ‘ball in play’ action, but is it popular and is it working?
Managers and players would say no, fans might be on the fence, depending on whether their team is winning or not, and the data analysts would just give us the black and white facts.
