DRONE IN PROBE AS BIRD FLIES

POLICE are investigating an incident that temporarily halted Yeovil’s game with Crawley on New Year’s Day – because of a drone over Huish Park.
The players went off for 11 minutes after the remote-controlled craft appeared overhead in the 81st minute, the Glovers eventually losing 2-1 after play resumed.
Meanwhile, Yeovil have signed 20-year-old Barnsley midfielder Jared Bird on loan for the season.
