A host of EFL clubs are chasing the signing of former Peterborough and forward Paul Taylor.

The 29-year-old left in April, after being told he would not be offered a new deal, and The understands sides Rochdale, Bradford, and , and newly promoted Championship side Bolton, are all interested in the player's services.

In January, Grant McCann confirmed Peterborough had turned down a bid from Mansfield for Taylor, but while the Stags are assembling an impressive squad and have made 13 signings so far this summer, they are no longer interested.

Bolton meanwhile are heavily interested in Taylor, with the club desperate to add some attacking flair to the side, after selling Zach to in January, and struggling to agree a new contract with winger Filipe Morais.

It would appear Taylor would also suit the philosophy of newly appointed Wigan manager , while Bradford are considering offering the technical attacker a deal as they hope to finally gain promotion from the third-tier.

After re-joining Peterborough last July, Taylor made 30 appearances in all competitions, scoring six goals, as Posh struggled for consistency in League One and eventually finished eleventh, nine points off the play-off places.

The attacker's first spell at the ABAX Stadium was far more fruitful, with Taylor scoring 14 goals in 38 games during the 2011-12 season, and that form convinced Ipswich to sign him, before spells at and Blackburn followed.
