Saunders heaps praise on ex-Royal Robson-Kanu for Euros displays

Dean Saunders has heaped praise on Wales striker Hal Robson-Kanu after the outgoing striker scored a winning goal  against Slovakia and tested the strength of ‘s defence in a target man role at .

Former manager Saunders, speaking exclusively to 888sport , has no doubts about what the rest of the summer holds in store for the free agent, who has been linked with , Schalke and Monaco among others.

Saunders, capped 75 times by Wales, commented: “Robson-Kanu has probably got himself a club on that goal alone. He is quick and always has a goal in him and hopefully he will get the right club.”

Robson-Kanu’s nine-year tenure with the will end when his contract expires on June 30, a club where the Welshman has tallied up 197 league appearances, scoring 24 goals.

The former and loanee is expected to keep his place in the Wales starting XI for their match against Russia on Sunday.
