WYCOMBE boss Tom Hounsell says new goalkeeper Joe Wildsmith will provide “healthy” competition for first-choice stopper Conor Hazard.
Former Sheffield Wednesday, West Brom, Derby and Barnsley stopper Wildsmith was a free agent after leaving Middlesbrough at the end of last season.
With Matt Macey out for the season and Conor Hazard away on international duty with Northern Ireland, the Chair-boys were short on cover between the sticks.
