EFL Broadcast Selections confirmed until early October

Sky Bet EFL broadcast selections for the period up until the 3 October have now been confirmed.

As announced last week, all opening weekend matches in the Championship, League One and League Two are once again set to be broadcast live on Sky Sports, along with all Carabao Cup and EFL Trophy fixtures.

The Carabao Cup kicks-off the 2026/27 season, with four ties selected for broadcast on Sky Sports Football in Round One, including Middlesbrough v Wrexham (Friday 7 August, 20:00 – also on ITV), and the Devon derby between Plymouth Argyle and Exeter City (Monday 10 August, 20:00). 

All remaining Round One ties will be available for broadcast on Sky Sports+, with fixture dates and kick-off times to follow.

Derbies

Selected fixtures in the Championship include Lincoln City’s first home match back in the division against Portsmouth (Saturday 22 August, 12:30), the West Midlands derby between Birmingham City and Wolverhampton Wanderers (Sunday 6 September, 12:00) and Millwall hosting West Ham United (Saturday 19 September, 12:30 – also on ITV).

In League One, Sheffield Wednesday will host Bradford City (Thursday 20 August, 20:00) in a Yorkshire derby, and two of last season’s League Two Play-Off semi-finalists, Salford City and Chesterfield will face off in front of the Sky cameras (Saturday 22 August, 12:30).                                                                                                                                       

By 31 July, all TV selections will be confirmed for the period up to the FA Cup Third Round on the weekend of 9 January 2027.
