HUGHTON REVEALS CANCER BATTLE

VASTLY experienced boss Chris Hughton says he is “in a really good place” following a prostate cancer diagnosis.
The 67-year-old led Newcastle to the Championship title in 2010 and also won promotion to the top-flight with Brighton in 2017.
He was diagnosed in April last year and underwent successful surgery to remove his prostate the following month.
“The news certainly didn’t scare me,” said Hughton, who has also managed Birmingham, Norwich, Nottingham Forest and the Ghana national team.
