BLACKBURN boss Valerien Ismael has challenged Aynsley Pears to seize his chance following an injury to first-choice goalkeeper Balazs Toth.
Hungarian international Toth, 28, was forced off in the dying stages of Tuesday’s 1-0 win over Bristol City.
“My worry is confirmed that he needs surgery on his knee,” said Ismael. “That will take him out for 12 weeks. That’s the realistic prognosis of the injury, so we have to deal with that now.
