LET’S SHOW FA CUP – AND OUR GAME – RESPECT IT DESERVES

EVERY reader of this newspaper will share with me the sentiment that ‘I love my football’.
We all kicked a ball as a kid, loved a team, had a hero and knew everything there was to know about the beautiful game. I just hope and pray that the powers that be allow us to love the sport forever more.
Constant fiddling with the rules and competitions can be sold as continuous improvement. But there are times to remember that things that aren’t broken don’t need mending. Football stood the test of time with a proven format and structure.
