MAX WOE CHANGES BORO’S TARGETT

MIDDLESBROUGH have signed Newcastle left-back Matt Targett on a season-long loan after ending their pursuit of USA international Max Arfsten.
Columbus Crew rejected an offer of £2.25m for 24-year-old Arfsten, who has won ten caps for the US national team and was manager Rob Edwards’ No.1 target to fill the left wing-back role at the Riverside.
