Potted! On-song Stoke City see off Southampton to continue perfect start to the season

Mark Robins saluted his Stoke troops after they continued their perfect start to the season with a battling 2-1 win at Southampton.

Second-half goals from Lewis Baker and Sorba Thomas were enough to see the Potters maintain their 100 per cent record, despite having Divin Mubama sent off.
Although Taylor Harwood-Bellis pulled one back for Saints, Stoke stood firm.
Potters boss Robins said: “I thought it was a brilliant game. With 11 players, we were really good and looked a real threat. Everybody, to a man, worked their socks off.”
