BOREHAM Wood manager Luke Garrard is the favourite to take over at Colchester United following the dismissal of Wayne Brown.
The 37-year-old became the youngest manager in England’s top five tiers when he took charge of Boreham Wood in 2015.
He has since led the Hertfordshire minnows to the National League play-off final and last season reached the fifth round of the FA Cup where they were defeated 2-0 by Premier League Everton.
