Port Vale have completed the attacking signings of winger Matthew Kennedy from Cardiff City and Theo Robinson from Motherwell.
Kennedy joins on a loan from the Bluebirds that will run until the end of the season and could be in line to start in Tuesday night's match against Doncaster, pending international clearance.
The 21-year-old has struggled to hold down a first-team place at the Cardiff City Stadium since being snapped up from Everton last summer.
Vale manager Rob Page expressed his pleasure at concluding the first piece of business thus far in the January transfer window.
“I'm delighted to have secured Matty's signature,” Page told the club's website.
“He's a terrific player and one that I believe can really help us. I've tracked him for a while so I'm really pleased to have got him in the building now.”
Joining Kennedy at Vale Park is 27-year-old striker Theo Robinson, who has signed a short-term deal until the summer.
Robinson has scored 68 career goals in 285 appearances in total and makes the move after leaving Scottish club Motherwell.
Page said of the former Derby and Doncaster forward: “We're over the moon to have added Theo to the squad. He's a striker who looks to run in behind and score goals and he's got vast experience in the Football League as well.”
