Yems left steaming at clumsy ref Kettle

FURIOUS John Yems branded referee Trevor Kettle “incompetent” after his Crawley side slipped to defeat at in-form Cheltenham Town. The Robins have now kept six clean sheets in eight matches this term, Crawley having offered very little threat, but Yems’ ire was directed at the referee as well as his own side’s lack of attacking threat. “I am disappointed with the goals we conceded and the officials,” he said. “We had to play 12 men.
