LEEDS manager Marcelo Bielsa has insisted a botched bid to sign Daniel James in January did not scupper their bid for automatic promotion.
The Whites had agreed a £10m fee with Swansea and James was signing autographs at Elland Road when the Welsh side made a last-minute U-turn.
