CHARLIE Austin has backed Newport County’s Shaquille Gwengwe to follow in his footsteps by forging a career in the pro game.
Gwengwe, 25, was plucked from Poole Town after equalling Austin’s astonishing record of 46 goals in 46 games for the Southern League side last season.
