VETERAN midfielder Adam Forshaw says penning a one-year contract extension at Blackburn was a no-brainer.
The 34-year-old, who played in the Premier League for Middlesbrough and Leeds, has featured 21 times in his third season at Ewood Park, scoring once.
He has been a mainstay under Michael O’Neill, whose appointment on a short-term deal in February helped Rovers surge to Championship safety following a dismal start under Valerien Ismael.
