BLUES IN BATTLE TO KEEP SOLIS…

BIRMINGHAM’S hopes of retaining on-loan Girona midfielder Jhon Solis have been dealt a blow following reports that Leeds and Brentford are eyeing a move for the tough-tackling Colombian.
Solis, 21, joined the Blues in January for a £500,000 loan fee. The deal included a £6.9m option to buy which became mandatory in the event that Solis played a minimum of 45 minutes in 11 Championship games or more.
Ahead of the weekend’s fixtures, he had fulfilled this criteria 13 times.
