STOKE City sporting director Jon Walters says tying goalkeeper Viktor Johansson down to a new long-term deal is a statement of intent from the Championship club.
Johansson, 27, spent four seasons with Rotherham before making a £1m switch to the Potteries in 2024.
The Sweden international has since built a reputation as one of the best shot-stoppers in the second tier and boasted a league-high eight clean sheets before suffering a serious shoulder injury in January.
