Coventry City could seal their promotion to the Premier League after a 25-year absence from the top flight if they secure one point against Blackburn Rovers, who will be keen to put further distance between themselves and the bottom three.
In League One, Cardiff City will return to the second tier if they win away at Huddersfield Town tonight and Stockport County lose at AFC Wimbledon tomorrow, while at the other end of the table, Rotherham United, Northampton Town and Port Vale could all drop into League Two by the end of play on Thursday evening.
Finally, after another stellar campaign under Andy Woodman, Bromley could confirm their status as a League One club should they claim all three points against third-placed Cambridge United at Hayes Lane on Thursday night.
