EVANS IN TALKS TO STAY AT ROVERS

STEVE Evans says he is hopeful he will remain in charge of Bristol Rovers again next season having steered the Gas clear of the League Two relegation zone.
The 63-year-old was appointed Rovers boss in December on a deal until the summer with the club deep in trouble at the foot of the table and on a ten-match losing streak.
And the wily former Rotherham, Leeds, Gillingham and Stevenage boss made an immediate impact, picking up 26 points from the following 19 games to move the Gas 13 points clear of relegation pre-weekend.
