JON STEPS IN AS LIAM TAKES LEAVE

JON Stead has been appointed Huddersfield joint-manager until the end of the season after Liam Manning was granted a period of compassionate leave.
Manning, 40, joined the League One play-off chasers in January after spells in the Championship with Norwich and Bristol City.
Manning took compassionate leave from Bristol City in October 2024 following the death of his newborn son Theo and Huddersfield said “ongoing personal matters” are behind his current absence.
