OUSMANE Diakite has claimed West Brom are in talks to sell him – just days after signing a contract extension.
In a statement on Wednesday, the Baggies said they had exercised a one-year option that will keep the Malian midfielder at the Hawthorns until the summer of 2027.
“He’s a vital part of this football club, so I’m happy,” said interim manager James Morrison. “He epitomises what we want in the squad.”
