SALFORD boss Karl Robinson admitted he was “disappointed” as his side missed the chance to secure a League Two play-off spot in their draw with already relegated Carlisle.
The Ammies knew a win was needed to secure a play-off spot, but their chances were blown away by an early two-goal salvo from the hosts.
Robinson said: “It’s a feeling of disappointment, but from the midst of a relegation fight last season to finish one place outside the play-offs, to outsiders looks like a half-decent season. ”
