BAGGIE BRANDON’S GOT HIS BIG CHANCE TO SHINE

IT’S always good to see players from the lower divisions get the chance to step up and show what they can do at a higher level. Striker Brandon Thomas-Asante has always looked a handful for Salford over the last few years and they can be proud of their role in his development.
Now, having joined West Brom for a reported £300,000 after they activated a release clause in his contract, it will be interesting to see how the 23-year-old copes with the two-division jump. Training and playing with better players should help take his game to new levels.
