DELIGHTED Burnley manager Vincent Kompany hailed the Clarets fans for providing the “rocket fuel” for his side’s rout over Wigan Athletic.
Goals from Josh Brownhill (two), Jay Rodriguez, Nathan Tella and Samuel Bastien gave the Clarets north-west bragging rights, with Will Keane’s penalty pulling one back for Wigan.
