Sheffield United put the Championship on notice they mean business with a three-goal demolition of Blackburn Rovers.

Goals from Oliver Norwood and Iliman Ndiaye’s double saw Paul Heckingbottom’s side knock Rovers off top spot and climb to the summit themselves.

Heckingbottom said: “It’s too early to talk about who the best team in the league is, or anything like that. What I would say is that we’d give any team a game with a performance like that.”

Elswhere, West Brom thumped Hull City 5-2.
