ANDI Weimann is a player whose potential seemed destined to go unrealised when he suffered a ruptured cruciate early in the 2020-21 season.
The Austrian was 29 when disaster struck, and had spent the previous five years seeing his positional versatility abused by a succession of managers at Derby and Bristol City.
Up front, out wide, everywhere in-between; Weimann played more roles than Eddie Murphy in Dr Doolittle but was never allowed to make any of them his own.
