THE RACE IS ON TO REPLACE JOHNNIE

BURTON Albion manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and departing QPR boss Mark Warburton are the early favourites to take over at Charlton Athletic.
The League One side are on the hunt for a new manager following the shock dismissal of club legend Johnnie Jackson on Tuesday.
Jackson, 39, succeeded Nigel Adkins in October and, after winning seven of his ten games in caretaker charge, was handed the role permanently two months later.
Form slumped thereafter but, speaking in March, owner Thomas Sandgaard appeared to assure Jackson that his future at The Valley was secure....
