LEE GOES FROM ZERO TO HERO

THIS time last season, Lee Nicholls couldn’t even get a game in League One for MK Dons.
Now the 29-year-old goalkeeper is a shoo-in for Huddersfield Town’s player of the year award, a decent bet to make the Championship team of the season and may -with a bit of luck -be heading for the Premier League.
“If you’d told me I’d be in this position 12 months ago I’d probably have laughed at you,” admits the former Wigan shot-stopper. “Where I was and where I’ve got to… I can’t put it into words, really. I don’t think it’s hit me yet, but it’s taken a lot of hard work.”
