EFL clubs still have more than three weeks to strengthen their squads before the close of the transfer window.
The summer window shuts on Tuesday, August 31 at 11pm, the same cut- off point as the Premier League.
Meanwhile, the EFL, Carabao Cup and Papa John’s Trophy will revert back to seven substitutes named on a teamsheet this season, with a maximum of three used.
An additional two concussion substitutes will be allocated, if required. An additional substitution will be allowed in extra-time for finals and the play-offs.
In the UK, Sky Sports will show 138 Sky Bet EFL matches, 15 Carabao Cup ties and the semi-finals and final of the Papa John’s Trophy.
Quest will continue to be the home for all highlights of matches in the Sky Bet EFL, Carabao Cup and Papa John’s Trophy, with action from a full weekend schedule of matches broadcast at 9pm on Saturdays, and midweek League highlights and Carabao Cup midweek highlights also screened on applicable weeknights.
Puma have become the official match ball supplier of the EFL this season.
