DEAN Gerken has already been a hero between the sticks for Colchester this season, but he knows his job will not be finished until he helps his side secure promotion to League One.
Gerken, 34, who has also played for Ipswich and Bristol City in the Championship, returned to Colchester this summer after a decade away from the club.
The Essex-born shotstopper, who made 127 appearances for Colchester before leaving them for Bristol City in 2009, helped the U’s secure a historic promotion during his first spell at the club – a feat he is determined to emula...
