MEYLER FORCED TO QUIT THROUGH INJURY

DAVID Meyler was proud of his “incredible journey” after the former Hull midfielder announced his retirement from football at the age of 30.
The Republic of Ireland international cited longstanding issues with his right knee as the reason for his decision to call it a day after more than a decade in English football.
