ONE win in 15 is a grisly statistic, but it is difficult to see what QPR have gained by sacking Steve McClaren.
On the day he departed, the Hoops sat 17th in the table, eight points above the drop zone. They could probably lose every game for the rest of the season and still survive comfortably, a fact reflected in relegation odds of 150-1.
