DESPITE moving nearer the relegation trapdoor with yet another defeat, Yeovil caretaker-boss Neale Marmon is convinced his side will avoid the drop following his first game in charge.
After a goalless first half, Newport upped the ante after the break, scoring through Robbie Willmott, Ben Kennedy and Keanu Marsh-Brown, with Tom James grabbing a solitary response for the Glovers.
“I thought the boys played really well,” said Marmon, whose side are now only out of the bottom two due to having a better goal difference than Notts County.
